Playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, killing demons and dragons, making alliances, removing obstacles. I can see why people loved this game so much.

I finished The Last Campfire soon after posting like week’s thread.

Started The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the first time ever, on Switch using NSO subscription. I was expecting a very dated gaming experience, but it doesn’t feel too bad. The gameplay is still fun. There was some issue with getting used to the controls on Switch, but I think I have gotten the hang of it now. Basically have to remember to not use right stick, and things work out fine.

I have left the forest, and am now in Goron dungeon. Got slightly stuck in couple of places but not enough to look up anything yet, it’s still early in the game though, so who knows how it goes.

Edit: I dropped Helldivers 2, while the game seems really fun, it just isn’t for me. I am not sure why exactly, but I think it’s because the game has no narrative and no proper end point. I like to play and finish the games, but can’t do that if game never finishes.

What about all of you? What have you been playing, or planning to play over the weekend?

Another crazy week, this time both at work and personal life, but at least this time I managed to sneak some gaming progress.

    Playing Senren * Banka!

Completed the first chapter, but I imagine I’m still quite early in the game since I haven’t even met the last of the main heroines.

Story continues to be fun slice-of-life mixed with some supernatural elements. Favorite character is definitely Mako, the mischievous ninja bodyguard.

    Playing Sea of Stars!

I usually avoid playing two longer story-driven games at the same time, but needed something with a bit more gameplay to help me get through this week, so I decided to start this one as well.

Loving the pixel art and the Mario-RPG style battle system with timed attacks. Too early to comment on the story asides from the fact that the flashback near the beginning dragged at bit too much for my tastes.

As for characters, the “Warrior Cook” Garl is great but the two main protagonists still feel kinda bland, let’s hope we see more of them as the game progresses.

I really enjoyed this game. It’s no Chrono Trigger but it was enough to give me that hit of nostalgia that I craved.

It keeps happening to me. Started a game on PS5, wanted something portable, so started one on Switch too. Both were slowish games, so started an action game. All these games requires somewhat long session so started one that can be played in small bursts…

Sea of Stars is pretty high on my wish list, so will probably play it within 2 years or so…
