    I don’t get this … how do they realistically expect to ban tiktok?

    The app is so addictive that people will just find ways around the restrictions.

    I’m not on it but lots of my friends are and they absolutely glued to it. I have one friend in his 50s and his kids tell me that he stays up way past midnight at the dining table every night just endlessly scrolling tiktok. I know because he sends me these damn things all hours of the day.

      Most people aren’t gonna download a VPN or sideload an app and try and get on TikTok again. One things for sure, an awful lot of the ones who try are gonna end up downloading malware

    I’m still unclear: is this bill restricting incorporation of entities in the US by parties that have a requirement to report to a foreign government, or is it just about TikTok?
