Reminder that the Red Sea attacks have still resulted in zero casualties. In response, the US-UK has killed 22 fighters.

Disrupting trade is punishable by death.

Picking a fight with a superpower is generally a poor idea. Killing military members - even in Jordan - might be considered a bit beyond mere commerce.

I’ve edited my post for accuracy, it was genuinely an honest mis-remembering of the attack; thank you for the clarification.

The US helped Saudi Arabia bomb the shit out of Yemen for a long time (search). I’m not properly educated about this myself but there are war crimes, starvation, a lot of shit. I mean you can’t keep up. But to them, enforcing sanctions against Israel creates local support, otherwise they are a pretty bad Islamist regime. The Houthis are also not proxys of Iran. So US bombing them probably helps them too internally.

But there is so much shit going on that it’s hard to keep up.

So is being gay if you’re in Yemen. I can’t say i have any sympathy for them. If you attack passing ships you can’t complain about retaliation.

Prevents poor country from progressing socially or economically through wars and genocides for decades

Complains about their lack of social progress

        Bruh.

If you attack passing ships you can’t complain about retaliation

If you commit and support a fucking genocide you can’t complain about having your supplies blocked. Would you not support blocking supplies to nazi Germany either?

        >wave a rainbow flag while murdering Muslim children by the thousands

“But why do Muslims hate gay people???”

Israel wrapped itself in a rainbow flag to attract liberal support, but they’re a homophobic society. They just do it for propaganda purposes; it tricks idiots into thinking Israel is good and stokes the fires of blowback across the Muslim world.

It’s a gigachad move and the only morally correct thing to do when they’re supplying a genocide.

I’d say supporting a genocidal colony with billions of dollars instead of your own country’s healthcare and education is about the most “betacuck” thing you can do lmao

But they’re not just attacking ships supplying aid to Israel. They are attacking whatever passes by them. If it was to support Gaza, why would they have attacked a clearly marked Chinese ship?

attacked a clearly marked Chinese ship

Pretty sure they stopped attacking Chinese and Russian ships since they stopped supplying “israel” and co. through the Red Sea after the Yemeni gov told them to. There were a few misfires after that but for the most part they’re left alone.

Hell, a br*tish ship misqueraded as a Chinese ship a few days ago to avoid being attacked. Probably why Yemen is ending up hitting a few Chinese ships too.

Regardless, China has condemned the US and UK’s bombing of Yemen. As anyone with a hint of morals should.

Bengalis, Cubans, Vietnamese, etc shouldn’t have fought against their oppressors and liberated their nations then? Cuz killing people is wrong and two wrongs don’t make a right ig?

You seem to be conflating me condemning Houthi attacks on unarmed vessels as supporting Israel.

It is clear you only think in black and white. Especially if you’re calling Houthi gigachads, you might want to look into who you’re supporting.

This is no different from sanctions. They’re just limited by their material conditions.

And no one has been killed. That has to count for something.

Disrupting trade is punishable by death.

At this scale? Yes. Fucking up global trade at this level hurts people all over the planet. The downstream pain reaches into millions of households.

And if that hurt isn’t enough for you, it’s clearly terrorism. And your plan is to let it stand because there haven’t been any deaths?

My plan is to force Israel to stop the genocide.

And they aren’t shutting down all global trade. Just ships going to or from Israel. Sanctions, essentially.
