I remember how r/Ukraine was obsessed by this. There was that boycot list of companies that were still operating in Russia that kept being reposted over and over again. I don’t know how they’re doing these days but I wouldn’t bet that they are still doing this.
A lot of western companies ended up quietly crawling back after the initial virtue signalling. It’s kind of hilarious how people expect capitalists to put ideology over profits.
Old enough to remember that everybody cared so very much about making sure big western companies stop doing business in Russia.
