    How low to steal from your people’s only defence during a war for existence.

      Total scum, I find up to 12 years prison rather low for that. I mean there could be multiple civilians and soldiers be saved if these planes were operational. Shows again the problem that the fines for white collar crime are rather low (everywhere in the world)

      But good that they were caught. It seems that the war against corruption in Ukraine is making progress:)

    But seriously, I feel bad for Ukraine.

    The former director of the state-owned enterprise, the head of the supplier company and two other accomplices have been notified of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:

    191.5 (misappropriation, embezzlement or seizure of property through abuse of office);
    
    28.2, 366.1 (forgery in office, committed upon prior conspiracy by a group).
    

    Government corruption (including military) has been a huge stumbling block for Ukraine to join NATO and the EU. Now it’s really biting them in the ass.

    Just have him serve as a sapper. If he’s willing to sabotage the war effort, let him find out how that affects the front
