minus-squareᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·1 year agoIt’s difficult to know what is less known these days as film recommendation posts happen a lot. If you told us what you liked we could probably come up with recommendations that let you drill down a bit further. However: SF: Timecrimes (2007) - if you like Primer or Triangle About Time - makes me cry every time Comedy - I’m rather partial to a kung-fu comedy: Close Encounters of the Spooky Kind Mr Vampire Kung-fu Hustle
minus-squareVery_Bad_Janet@kbin.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up4·1 year agoFor you, I recommend Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.
minus-squareᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoCheers - got it on DVD, great film
minus-squareHot Saucerman@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·1 year agoShout out to Shaolin Soccer, the movie from Stephen Chow just before Kung-Fu Hustle. They’re both very, very good.
minus-squareᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoYep, love that too. There are quite a few Stephen Chow releases in the works somit might be Chow Time!
minus-squarecanthidium@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoI’d also recommend God of Cookery, which is basically the same as Shaolin Soccer but about cooking.
minus-squareastanix@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-21 year agoI LOVE Primer and had no idea Triangle was a time loop movie. Ive had it on my list of movies to watch for so long that I’ve forgotten why and maybe I knew that when I added it… lol. Definitely grabbing Timecrimes now, thanks.
minus-squareᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoTriangle is a great film. Definitely give it a watch. I loved Timecrimes - gave it 9/10.

minus-squareᴇᴍᴘᴇʀᴏʀ 帝@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoDefinitely! The more recommendations the better!
