All things are possible through Christ lol
Ya’ll need God.
Posting this from TempleOS
I’ve found Krita to be a less clumsy way to edit images than GIMP, been using it that way for years.
Yes, GIMP is powerful when used correctly, but Krita is far closer to Photoshop in terms of UI and out of the box features.
Obligatory: Do people not know that Krita exists?
If you mean that you are having an effect on said change… oh god maybe that’s actually correct?
If you are affecting (a) change, that would mean you are basically causing change.
But if you are effecting change, said change would have to have been previously established or referenced.
I think???
English is a goddamned shit-show sometimes.
Anyway, we should bring back the interrobang, and the thorne, and also I actually love the Oxford comma even though the AP style guide hates it.
lol, you are correct!
I hope this does not affect your usage of effect in the correct context.
As a former copy editor I find the effect of using affect incorrectly eye roll inducing.
But yeah, affect is a verb, effect is a noun.
The easy rule of thumb for then/than is that if you are comparing things or qualities or quantities of things, you use than, otherwise, then is used.
The number of times I have had to explain to people who have more wealth than I ever will that Del is a key and it is different than Backspace…
Edit: Made the Yutani joke before I realized I’d been beaten to it.
I mean… if you are like, home alone status, in a whole ass house with a bunch of doors… maybe covering the knobs in foil would make it so some kind of intruder makes more noise when opening doors, as they either handle the foil opening the door, or when removing the foil?
???
It kind of makes some sense?
