    To be honest, I thought Putin had been trying to seize more of Ukraine since the attack began. Just those pesky Ukrainians in the way.

    Why do the news still give the bunker man a free forum to shout? Not that the talk will likely result in any meaningful action.

    I guess he could always order an other partial mobilization, but how many parts will the saga have? At what point will the parts account for everyone?

    The truth is that his army had been doing a really great job over the past year so his high hopes are clearly motivated. /s

    No, that’s not what he implied.

    , Putin said he was considering whether “to create on Ukrainian territory a kind of sanitary zone at such a distance from which it would be impossible to get our territory.”

    Anyone who has spent more than 2 minutes listening to Putin and his “nuke”-speeches knows that a “sanitary zone” is a euphemism and means “nuclear wasteland”. He threatens to create a radiation zone in Ukraine to prevent them from attacking russia.
