I don’t like this idea. But if it helps pull more votes from people who need permission to vote for her, I guess that’s what it takes. She needs to win bigly to really put the lie to the idea that it was stolen.

I guess that’s unironically true but the US system with just one round of voting is a bit disappointing if you ask me. Makes it so that you’ll always have to go with one of two major candidates or the vote is basically wasted.

what the absolute fucking fuck is wrong with liberals that they can see and hear this shit and be like hmmm yes good

She’s going to put a Republican in charge of the Office of Blocking Abortion Reform and then people will just be like “uwu that’s just bipartisanship i guess”

“would” as in, “I would, if I could find one that isn’t insane”, or “would” as in “I have a plan and already know who I’m giving the position to and what position it is”?

The interview is scheduled to air in full at 8 p.m. Thursday.

In that interview, Harris says if elected, she would name a Republican to serve in her cabinet, according to CNN.

      I think the second one

Libs love nothing more than conceding to the right.

They love all the right wing talking points but the Republicans presentation is too blunt.

It’s an interesting thing. It soothes the fears of some people in the middle, upsets some in the left but also works against the agitation that she’s a rabid leftist. Not sure what the combined total effect would be, would she upset more people more or gain more from the middle.

Her answer was bad. She should’ve said “I’m going to choose the best people to make our vision of America a reality. I don’t care if you’re Democrat, Republican, Independent, Green—as long as you believe that we can make life better for all Americans and you’re onboard with our campaign, that’s what matters.”

But also, it’s a BS question to begin with. When is the last time they asked a Republican presidential candidate if they would bring Democrats into their cabinet? They don’t because they’re corporate media and they want to continue pushing the Overton window to the extreme right. The more right-wing the country becomes, the more monopolistic and consolidated their control of the market becomes. It’s fucked.

If she can find an actual Republican and not a Magat or Libturd then it’s probably not a bad idea.

And now we will watch the momentum deflate like a cheap balloon. Liberals never cease to disappoint when it matters most. At least Tim Walz is cool.

The media will eat this up. They love their John McCain warmongering and Mitt Romney deficit scalding. And they adore bipartisanship, particularly when it becomes an excuse to have Democrats in the White House signing Republican legislation.

The liberals will fawn all over Harris for bringing in more Republicans to Beat Trump. Winning the election is all that really matters. Policy is a distant secondary concern.

Could have had an election after Biden stepped down. You could be voting for Tim as your next president. Just saying.

I vote for a Satanist. Would be weird to have an ethical religion represented in government
