Summer Games Done Quick just wrapped up last week and most of the VODs are now up on Youtube.
What’d you guys think about the show this year? I’d love to hear about everyone’s highlights!
The ratatouille speedrun is definitely one to watch. Lots of good chefs.
I’ll kick things off with a highlight of my own: Peggle Deluxe. Super chill runner plus surprsingly technical gameplay.
Oh man this is just what I needed to chill before going to bed :)
Paper Mario, CrossCode, and Link Between Worlds were great. I loved seeing a new trick in Paper Mario (seed dupe? That’s awesome!) And of course, the Mario Maker relay was absolutely hype!
Would love to hear opinions on the best races or relays this year!
Can’t watch live as much these days, but love catching the replays.
I really enjoyed the Mario maker race - it’s always thrilling! Excited to catch up on blindfolded botw too!
I love the Mario maker races! Last year’s SMW rom hack race was still the most hype I’ve ever been but this year’s MM2 came close!
The Golf It! race is fantastic! Very funny commentary the whole way through and an unexpected twist ending.
Honestly, the highlight of the show for me was definitely the blindfold Breath of the Wild run… amazing!
Also enjoyed glitchless Elden Ring.
Oooh, a glitchless Elden Ring run? I’m surprised it’s under 90 minutes! That one totally flew under my radar.
Apparently the official video isn’t up yet, but here’s a VOD capture for anyone else that’s interested.
