It’s good news, though western allies in general have been very slow in providing Ukraine what they need to end this war in a faster, more decisive manner. I think we missed that window when the US and Europe were hemming snd hawing about F-16s and longer range drones in the lead up to this recent counter-offensive because they were afraid Ukraine would use them to strike within Russia.

The west needs to acknowledge explicitly that they want Ukraine to win and to restore their territorial integrity. I am very much anti-war as a rule, but half-measures in support only really pro-long the conflict and result in more death.

This is a summary of the posted article (I’m a bot).

The European Union is speeding up arms deliveries to Ukraine in support of the country’s counter offensive against Russian forces. EU industry chief Thierry Breton said in an interview with the French daily Le Parisien: “We are preparing for the war to last several more months, or even longer” Ukraine launched a counteroffensive earlier this month to retake territory from Russian forces, and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin last Thursday urged Kyiv’s allies to “dig deep” to provide more arms and ammunition. The positions taken in these articles are not necessarily those of EU Reporter.
